Webducate project wins Talis Incubator for Open Education funding

We are very pleased and excited to announce that the Webducate project to create an e-learning authoring tool called Drawtivity has been awarded funding by the Talis Incubator for Open Education. This project aims to create a new form of web based authoring system that offers functionality to facilitate the open reuse and adaptation of all authored activities.  Drawtivity activities themselves will involve the participant marking out a line or area on an image and then receiving feedback on the accuracy of their attempt through seeing a correct answer and a percentage accuracy score.  Watch this space for more information soon.

Talis announces details of the funded projects

Dragster 3 – new loading animation

A new setting has been added to Dragster 3 which animates the display of activity elements and the display and hiding of activity information panels.  These animations are designed to be subtle and appealing so hopefully you will like them too!  This setting is called Animate activity loading and is available at the bottom of the general block on the activity settings page (see below):

These new animations can easily be disabled by unchecking this setting before publishing your activity. View the Volcano labelling activity which now uses this loading anmation.
